Gaol House Cottage

Built in 1861 and now Heritage listed for it's Georgian Streetscape, the Gaol House allows guests to experience the feeling of days gone by. Featuring the original gaol cells and cell doors, the Gaol House makes for an unforgettable Tasmanian experience.

Decorated with period influences, the original pit-sawn floorboards and the open fireplace in the lounge have been preserved. The Gaol has a queen bed and two singles, a kitchenette, lounge with open fire and dining room.

Ideal for families or couples, the Gaol is heated by the open fire and heat pump with panel heaters in both bedrooms and electric blankets on all beds. This is a fully self-contained cottage.
